From Vet Student to Dog Behaviorist: How I Got Here
I started my career in veterinary medicine back in 2009. While I loved working with dogs, I quickly realized the clinical environment wasn’t where I thrived. The culture didn’t align with the way I wanted to impact dogs’ lives and I knew there had to be a more fulfilling way to help them before they ended up in the vet's office for behavioral issues or stress-related health concerns.
In 2010, I transitioned into training and never looked back.
Over the years, I’ve worked with families, first-time dog owners, and experienced handlers to raise dogs that are not only well-behaved, but emotionally balanced, lifestyle-ready, and genuinely enjoyable to live with. I’ve trained under some of the most respected names in the field, building a method grounded in behavioral science, structure, and a deep respect for the human dog relationship.
Now, I raise a limited number of puppies each year through a full time, immersive program that takes the guesswork off your plate and sets your future dog up for success from the start.
